This fabric-covered PVC staple channel trim makes a traditional finish on fabric awnings and shades. Steel Stitch Fabric-Covered ZipStrip incorporates Sunbrella acrylic that fully conceals the PVC material. A durable lockstitch double seam of GORE TENARA thread holds the fabric in place for years of attractive performance. A variety of fabrics and colors are available, such as Jockey Red.
Many prefer Steel Stitch awning hardware for its easy, durable technique for awning installation. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, connecting the fabric firmly to the awning frame. The staple channel is then hidden with Steel Stitch fabric-covered or plain PVC ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a handheld pneumatic hammer.
