Description

This PVC trim is designed to cover staples once the fabric has been fixed into place. Used for canopy and awning frames, Steel Stitch ZipStrip is driven into the open channel with an air hammer. Available in over 30 colors, including Bordeaux.

Many fabricators prefer Steel Stitch awning hardware for its quick-and-easy, durable method for awning installation. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, attaching the fabric firmly to the awning frame. The staple channel is then concealed with Steel Stitch PVC or fabric-covered ZipStrip, which is quickly driven into the channel with a handheld pneumatic hammer. The end result is a snug fit and smooth look, finished in much less time than other techniques. Find all types of the staple-in awning frame system through Trivantage.
