Description

SunPatch fabric patches, featuring non-PFAS solution-dyed acrylic construction, deliver dependable repairs for marine fabrics, awnings, umbrellas, and more. Match your materials with Sunbrella colors such as Black, shown here. Benefit from a two-part adhesive system that allows easy repositioning before heat activation.

These patches handle tears, holes, and reinforcement needs with ease using a heat press, hand iron, or hot air tool. Find your perfect match in SunPatch’s wide range of durable, long-lasting fabric colors. For repairs that last, don’t replace—SunPatch it!

Best Practices & Recommendations:

  • Trim to size with rounded corners which prevents catching and lifting over time.
  • Be sure your application surface is clean and dry before applying SunPatch.
  • Avoid heat setting temperatures above 220 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent shrinkage and adhesive seepage.
  • For best results, apply heat for 1 minute and let cool for several hours before use in the field. For two-sided patching projects, apply heat for 30 seconds per side.
  • All patches are run in the warp direction (length of the roll). Be sure to match the direction of the SunPatch and original fabric for a less-noticeable application.
