Description

Easily repair or reinforce your outdoor fabrics with SunPatch fabric patches, crafted from non-PFAS solution-dyed acrylic. Designed to coordinate with popular Sunbrella fabric shades like Cadet Grey, these patches blend seamlessly with your materials. They feature pressure-sensitive, heat-activated adhesive that bonds securely once heat is applied.

Ideal for marine upholstery, umbrellas, or awning projects, SunPatch patches let you reposition during the initial phase of repair. Activate the bond with a hand iron, heat press, or hot air gun and roller for durable, professional-grade results. Choose SunPatch for reliable reinforcement that lasts—don’t replace it, SunPatch it!

Best Practices & Recommendations:

  • Trim to size with rounded corners which prevents catching and lifting over time.
  • Be sure your application surface is clean and dry before applying SunPatch.
  • Avoid heat setting temperatures above 220 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent shrinkage and adhesive seepage.
  • For best results, apply heat for 1 minute and let cool for several hours before use in the field. For two-sided patching projects, apply heat for 30 seconds per side.
  • All patches are run in the warp direction (length of the roll). Be sure to match the direction of the SunPatch and original fabric for a less-noticeable application.
