Description

Made with non-PFAS solution-dyed acrylic, SunPatch fabric patches are a versatile fix for holes, tears, or areas needing reinforcement in outdoor fabric applications, including marine fabrics, umbrellas, and awnings. Available in matching Sunbrella colors like Burgundy shown here, these heat-activated adhesive patches offer easy application and durability.

The two-step adhesive system ensures flexibility, letting you reposition the patch as needed before setting it with heat. Use a heat press, iron, or hot air gun for a secure and lasting hold. Best Practices & Recommendations:

  • Trim to size with rounded corners which prevents catching and lifting over time.
  • Be sure your application surface is clean and dry before applying SunPatch.
  • Avoid heat setting temperatures above 220 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent shrinkage and adhesive seepage.
  • For best results, apply heat for 1 minute and let cool for several hours before use in the field. For two-sided patching projects, apply heat for 30 seconds per side.
  • All patches are run in the warp direction (length of the roll). Be sure to match the direction of the SunPatch and original fabric for a less-noticeable application.
