Engineered for outdoor roller shades, SunTex 97 is a full basketweave fabric made from vinyl-coated polyester. Thinner and lighter than standard SunTex, its 1-5% openness factor allows for improved control over heat, glare, and ensures privacy during the day.
SunTex exterior shading fabric is designed to resist pets, mildew, and fading, needing only occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. Ideal for exterior projects, SunTex 95/97/99 also helps reduce energy usage by lessening the sun's heat and glare.
SunTex is infused with Microban® antimicrobial product protection, helping to provide an additional level of cleanliness protection that won't wash or wear away for the lifetime of the screen. Microban protection inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew and works continuously, keeping screens cleaner for longer. This product is GREENGUARD® and GREENGUARD® Gold certified.
