Part of the VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener method, the #81 "hook" (male) strip has small, stiff hooks. This woven tape fastener joins with a #9000 "loop" (female) part that has small, soft loops. When conjoined, the mating strips make an adjustable, secure closure.
The VELCRO® Brand tape's compact, polyester structure offers high durability, support, and easy care. While typically not as strong as nylon, polyester offers better UV and water repellency. The unique self-gripping system eliminates the need for buckles, rings, or snaps. Uses for these sew-on strips include marine fastening, cushion placement, indoor/outdoor functions, clothing, recreational gear, tying, wrapping and bundling, straps, and other industrial uses. VELCRO® Brand polyester hook tape #190787 has a width of 2 inches and comes in white.
