For zipper functions in which a smaller chain is required, YKK #5 VISLON zippers supply a solution. The chain has a width of 5mm (with a tape width of 9/16" on either side of the chain). In spite of its scaled-down size, VISLON #5 awards the same strength and smooth mobility as the larger sizes.
Made with polyester tape and acetal plastic teeth, it delivers high tenacity, dimensional stability, and weatherability. Erosion resistant and self-lubricating, the zipper even lasts through mud and sand. With a unique integrated coloring procedure, the coating will not rub off, chip, or peel. Because of these cutting-edge features, the VISLON zipper has a variety of consumer, industrial, and military functions. Use for upholstery, tents, marine enclosures, bags, and curtains, among many others.
YKK #5VS in white includes the zipper chain only (sliders sold separately). Each zipper tape roll length is 109 yards.
