As we have seen in recent weeks, our industries are operating in an extremely volatile environment as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to upend not only our economy but our very livelihoods. Despite these setbacks, our partners, along with Trivantage, have emerged as a part of the solution in protecting frontline workers from COVID-19. Through the incredible efforts of customers, suppliers, and the medical community, everyone involved has retooled many operations and is supplying important safety products and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks, face shields, hand protection, and many other safety supplies.
We are beginning to hear conversations about the need for different types of PPE as well as the return of traditional business. Trivantage is here to support your business as we move into an environment where restrictions are lifted, allowing demand to increase for commercial/retail PPE and traditional shade, marine, furniture, and industrial fabrication opportunities.
Commercial/retail PPE will be in demand for some time. Some of these products will include clear partitions used in restaurants, retail spaces, gyms, commercial offices, barber shops/hair salons, hotels, and other areas where people may be in close proximity.
The following materials may be used in the creation of partitions for restaurants, retail, salons, gyms, shared workplaces, and more.
These fabrics may be appropriate for use in creating barrier curtains for public transportation, work vehicles, golf carts, medical offices, auto dealers, and more.
These materials may be used in the creation of tents and temporary structures that can function as triage and pop-up structures for medical care needs.
How can we work together to help?
1. Continue to reach out in your local communities to healthcare organizations to determine what medical PPE items are in need, determine your capabilities to produce, and talk to a Trivantage representative about inputs that might be used to produce medical PPE.
2. Network with restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, gyms, barber shops/hair salons, commercial offices, and other areas to determine commercial/retail PPE needs. These might include movable/portable/cleanable partitions made with clear vinyl and a simple frame system to separate people in these environments. Other needs might include cleanable tablecloths that can be wiped down with bleach. Sunbrella Upholstery and Sunbrella Horizon should be products for consideration.
